Old Carvings Restoration, Part II

Another batch of old wood carvings restored. I used the same process of cleaning and re-finishing as in the previous post so I won’t be writing about it again.

‘‘Butterfly’’ - this carving was at some point broken and poorly glued together

It turned out nicer than I hoped it would.

This is my favourite piece from all the carvings done by Beverly Mason, I called it ‘‘Kitties’’ while restoring it.

‘‘Boy’’ totally dried out with a large crack on the arm and some smaller ones around the legs.

‘‘Dancing Girls’’ - once again, very dried out carvings with many cracks along.
